Milestones
- Acting as legal Counsel to Adventist Development and Relief Agency Uganda (ADRA) on employment and labour litigation matters within Uganda and renewal of its Operators Permits from the National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organisations. ADRA is the global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Advised Children Justice Initiative on compliance with Ugandan Labor and Employment Laws, rendering ad-hoc legal advice, regulatory operational compliance and employment restructuring advisory.
- Acting as legal advisers for Africa Renewal Ministries in setting up in Uganda, evaluating and adequately advising the organization on laws regulating its operations in Uganda.
- Advising Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (VSF) on corporate matters and handling their registration within Uganda. VSF is an international network of non-profit organizations working all over the world, in the field of agriculture and livestock production, animal health and welfare in efforts to support small-scale farmers.
- Advised Kilimo Trust in the review and update of Kilimo’s Trust Deed and Board Manual, as well as provisions of Company Secretary Services. Kilimo Trust is an independent organization working on agriculture for development across the East African community Region; Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and more recently in the Republic of South Sudan.
- Act for Education for Hope, specifically advising them on the regulation of funding indigenous Non-profit organization. Education for Hope is a Colorado, USA based Non-Profit Organisation registered as a 501(c) 3 of the US Internal Revenue Service Classification.
- Advised Rajiv Ruparelia Rally Team on the process of incorporation of a Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO regulatory requirements, tax implications, completion of the Registration process and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Act as Legal counsel for EMERGENCYLife Support for Civilian War Victims in their operations and legal needs in Uganda. EMERGENCY offers free, high-quality medical and surgical treatment to the victims of war, landmines and poverty.
- Act for Water Mission Uganda in relation to their employment related operational requirements including, advisory on disciplinary processes and general compliance requirements.
