In a bid to become a continental Fourth Industrial Revolution (“4IR”) hub that enables a smart and connected society, Uganda has come up with a National Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy. The strategy document employs a three-part framework to set out Uganda’s key Fourth Industrial Revolution opportunities, enablers and delivery mechanisms. The key Fourth Industrial Revolution opportunities identify the areas where Fourth Industrial Revolution technology can contribute to concrete gains in Uganda’s gains in Uganda’s development objectives.
