In Exercise of the powers conferred upon the Minister of ICT and National Guidance has pursuant to his powers under section 93 of the Uganda Communications Act, 2013, and in consultation with the Uganda Communications Commission, made new Regulations. The new Regulations which cover the entire spectrum of the Communications industry have introduced new and industry defining and regulatory frameworks. They also now cover new matters that were hitherto unregulated. The Regulations and the objectives for the same are provided herein.
