KAA Partner to lead World Bank study

The World Bank in collaboration with Uganda Government and United Nations High Commission for Refugees has recently launched a study which will assess and analyze the evolving refugee policy and practice in Uganda in order to;

  1. Better understand how well the policy framework has contributed to its refugee populations economic well being and self-reliance;
  2. Identify lessons from Uganda experience which can be shared with other developing refugee hosting countries elsewhere.

The research team consists of four experts and is led by KAA’s Dr. Kallu C. Kalumiya. It is anticipated to submit its report to the World Bank headquarters by the end of August 2015.
